Island Bay.

Red Rock

After a great fish lunch at The Bach in Island Bay, I went for a walk along the coast. There is a trail that climbs a few hundred (maybe a thousand) feet up the hills by the water. It runs along the tops of the ridges for a couple kilometers and ends at a seal hideout. I didn’t make it to the seals. Instead, I just sat on top of this massive hill and looked at the ocean. Ships were sailing by and the sun was out and it looked like a postcard. I have come to realize that my camera does not do justice to the scenery here. I have had to find other things to take pictures of.

On an old country road in North Carolina.

With no point and no purpose.

Aukland

I took this shot while wandering around Aukland. The sun came out and went away every 20 minutes. It all seems very surreal still. I keep looking at my pictures and thinking that someone else has taken them.
