Just finished a really busy couple of weeks. I was working on two magazines at the same time, Jungle Campus and Revolver. Jungle Campus, required some illustration work, which I was more than happy to experiment with. Although exhausting and time consuming the end product makes it totally worth those sleepless nights.

This happened a while ago, but I haven’t had time to post it. Repulsion poster printed in 3D. We handed out each poster with 3D glasses at the show. These guys got back together and played Horrified in its entirety at the Masonic Temple for my friend Albert’s book release. Oh yeah, and Brutal Truth and Pig Destroyer played too. Crucial grind.

Wow, this one was fun. New gig poster for my friends band in Newport RI. They are playing in a public park and the Sasquatch came as a suggestion from the band. I got to work with my friends Bruno and Jon on this one. We’ve done a few things together now. Check us out. Oh and if you click the image you can see a bigger version. Good for looking at the detail of the stick letters I drew for this guy.

I am so happy with how this turned out. Thanks again Kelly for the work. I have been calling the guy in the poster Vernon the Magnificent and I think he would make a good comic character. I imagine his armpits to be very smelly, maybe that like his super power. He defeats the bad guys with a face full of body odor. I can’t wait for the next poster job. These are a blast. I still need to get a little more bold with my type and colors. Something about using bright super saturated colors just doesn’t sit right with me. I think I need to break out of that comfort zone and just make something really bright and bizarre. We shall see.
